We provide professional guidance throughout the certification process for your courses, supporting you from the initial inquiry to the final contractual agreement.

How to Become a Member
This process ensures the high quality of your training and guarantees sustainable alignment with bso standards. The accreditation process is designed to be transparent, consistent, and collaborative. It provides you with a clear basis for decision-making and allows for reliable internal planning.
Step 1: Inquiry and Initial Consultation
In this dialogue, we clarify your individual starting point and the specific requirements of the bso. Together, we establish a timeline for the entire certification process and define the next steps.

Step 2: Submission of Documentation
You compile your application dossier, including the curricula of your courses and the qualifications of your faculty. This documentation should be supplemented by your institute's own quality assurance policy and submitted digitally to our department.

Step 3: Professional Assessment and Accreditation
We conduct a detailed analysis of your documents based on bso quality standards. Upon successful completion, you will be officially recognised as a bso training partner and your offerings will be published in the education calendar.

During an initial meeting, we will explain the steps toward a training partnership, clarify open questions, and coordinate the timeline together.

Requirements and Conditions
Before starting the process, take a look at the technical and financial criteria for the partnership. A detailed overview of all the requirements can be found on our information page.
- Quality Standards: Your program must include at least 410 contact hours over a minimum duration of two years and integrate bso-regognised teaching supervision.
- Admission Fee: The one-time certification process for your institution is charged at a total of CHF 4,750.
- Annual Fee: The cost for active membership as a training institution amounts to CHF 2,000 per year.
