bso Committees: Transparent Management, Sound Expertise
As a professional association, bso is democratically structured and clearly organised. Learn more about our governing bodies, commissions, and networks responsible for the strategy, quality, and continuous development of our association.

Strategy and Governance
Transparent association management builds trust among members and the public. While the Executive Committee sets the strategic course, specialised committees ensure the professional excellence and independence of bso.
The Executive Committee – Strategic Management
The Executive Committee is the highest governing body of bso. It is elected by the General Assembly and is responsible for the long-term strategy, professional policy positioning, and financial management. Through a clear distribution of portfolios (ressorts), strategic decisions are made efficiently and communicated transparently.

Admissions and Quality Commission (AQC)
The AQK is the guardian of our standards. It decides independently on the admission of members with individual educational backgrounds and is responsible for contracts with our educational partners. By monitoring quality guidelines, it ensures that the bso label remains a reliable promise.

Regional Groups – The Vibrant Network
The regional groups form the foundation for professional exchange at regional level. They provide space for dialogue, peer reflection, and inspiration for individual consulting practice. Detailed information can be found in the Information Sheet on bso Regional and Specialist Groups.
