Training Program

Direct access for graduates

This path is open to all graduates of a bso-recognised training program. Upon successful completion of your studies in coaching, supervision, or organizational consultancy, direct admission is possible. Requirements include proof of the mandated practice hours and supplementary supervision sessions according to current association standards.

Higher Federal Diploma

State-recognized qualification

Individuals holding a Swiss Federal Diploma in Supervision/Coaching (S/C) or Organisational Consultancy (OC) meet the highest state qualifications. The HFP entitles you to direct bso membership and the use of the protected title. Detailed information on admission and examination procedures can be found on the specialist portal.

The individual path for professionals

This path is designed for experienced professionals with an equivalent educational background and extensive consulting practice. Individual qualifications are validated through a structured process consisting of a technical interview and a portfolio review. This ensures a fair assessment of your competence outside of standard training programs.

Membership in Training

Are you currently enrolled in a program with a bso training partner? As a member in training, you benefit from our expert network and exclusive association advantages right from the start. This membership lasts for a maximum of four years and is the ideal entry point into your professional career.

Fees

A transparent investment in your professionalism

Membership with bso is a commitment to the highest quality and professional ethics. Your contribution ensures the continuous development of the profession and the protection of the bso label, while providing you with an extensive package of exclusive services. Here you will find an overview of the annual membership fees as well as the one-time application fees.

Active Member
CHF 495/year
  • One-time admission fee of CHF 200
  • You meet the requirements of one of the admission pathways described above (recognized training program, Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education, or admission "sur dossier").
Member in Training
CHF 330/year
  • One-time admission fee of CHF 200
  • As a member in training, you are enrolled in a program with a bso training partner. Membership in training is limited to a maximum of four years.
Silverstars Member
CHF 371/year
  • For members of retirement age with limited consulting activity under the bso label
  • You remain part of the network and visible in the directory of consultants, but are exempt from participating in the Q-cycle.
Passive Member
CHF 248/year
  • For former active members no longer providing consulting services under the bso label
  • You remain connected to the bso and have access to the exclusive member area.

Detailed Provisions

Additional Information for Silverstars
  • Taxable income from consulting below CHF 30,000 per year.
  • Completion of three consecutive Quality Cycles (Q-Cycles) prior to transition.
  • Continued right to use the bso title.
  • Profile remains visible in the Consultant Directory (marked as "Silverstar").
  • Full exemption from active participation in the quality system.
  • Access to the exclusive members' area.
Additional Information for Passive Members
  • No public entry in the Consultant Directory.
  • Immediate exemption from the quality system.
  • Receipt of regular association correspondence.
  • Continued access to the protected members' area of the website.
  • Member discounts for association events and partner offers.
